Schneckennudeln - Authentic German Cinnamon Buns Recipe

In Germany every child is growing up with getting fresh Schneckennudeln at the bakery. In this video I show how authentic German cinnamon buns are made. I use fresh yeast which you can find in Italian stores or delicatessen stores. Using fresh yeast make a much better cinnamon bun.

For the dough:

500 g all purpose flour
250 warm milk
75 g sugar
80 g butter
30 g fresh yeast
1 pinch of salt
1 egg

For the filling:

50 g butter melted
2 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
50 g raisins

for the glaze:

60 g powdered sugar
1 tablespoon of water
