Prioritizing every day carry gear for personal protection

The temptation exists to make commonly used personal protection items highly accessible to facilitate everyday activity. This is prioritizing gear stowage based on occurrence. The emergency items then get stowed “deeper” in less accessible pockets or locations because of their infrequent use. Women have the added temptation by the ability to move some items off-body and into a purse.

It is best to avoid this mindset, and look at a gear stowage methodology that places the crucial, life-saving protective devices in immediate reach and on-person.
