Ella diary: Heading off to splash Ella this morning. It's been five years since she's seen the sea. If all goes well today, I'll be towing her / sailing her (depending on the condition of the main) to her new home port for more repairs before officially launching her. Thanks readers for keeping good thoughts in your minds today for our safe passage. See you next port! - c
10:30 P.M. Update: Thanks for your good wishes, friends. Calm winds and seas turned into a 7 hour tow without incident. Ella didn't leak a drop and her tiller handled easily, though I can tell I'll be quite sore tomorrow. I think she enjoyed the journey as much as I did. We both got plenty of sun and sea for one day. Tonight she's safe at the dock in her new home port and I'm home again and headed to a quick shower and then bed. Night! - c
