Mayan Sun

Not too often, but every once in a while, a great [IMO] work of art is created by accident - particularly in the case of machine-generated images.

Today I'd like to pay tribute to a malfunction of NASA's EIT (Extreme ultraviolet Imaging Telescope) for creating the above image which I've entitled "Mayan Sun".
