Barack Obama's WH Chair of the Council of Economic Advisors, Christina Romer, who said the $787 billion economic stimulus plan would create 3 to 4 million jobs [see below] just announced this:
"Most analysts predict that the fiscal stimulus will have its greatest impact on growth in the second and third quarters of 2009 -- and by mid-2010, fiscal stimulus will likely be contributing little, uh, to further growth."
