The Ugly -- Reportedly, Osama bin Laden is unable to appear LIVE in the latest video because he's DEAD. -- Democratic Underground
The Bad -- In his latest 12-minute video released two days after the eighth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks Bin Laden said addressing Americans, "Ask yourselves to determine your position: is your security, your blood, your children, your money, your jobs, your homes, your economy, and your reputation dearer to you than the security of the Israelis, their children and their economy?" -- The Wall Street Journal
Pushing the drama, Bin Laden added that "any leader of the White House (President) is set on tracks he can't leave. This President has become like a train set to move in a particular direction. He must accept these pressures otherwise his fate (the President) could be like President Kennedy or his brother (Robert)."
Then Bin Laden goes on to claim that his war against the United States led to a major economic crisis, debts which in turn created the meltdown. -- Counterterrorism Blog
The Good [best news I've heard all day (don't worry, it's only 06:30)] -- Taking bin Laden alive is unlikely. His former bodyguard, Nasser al-Bahri, alias “Abu Jandal”, told the al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper: “Sheikh Osama gave me a pistol ... The pistol had only two bullets, for me to kill Sheikh Osama in case we were surrounded or he was about to fall into the enemy’s hands.” -- Times Online
Now if we can just get those drones to announce as they fly overhead, "You are surrounded! Come out with your hands up!" -- [where's my coffee? ;) ]

Al Qaeda released a 106-minute Arabic language video Tuesday titled "The West... and The Dark Tunnel" featuring Al Qaeda's second in command Ayman al-Zawahiri predicting the downfall of Barack Obama.
The video's strident anti-American tone and detailed enumeration of what it describes as the U.S. crimes was in sharp contrast to the earlier bin Laden message, which appeared to be an appeal to the American people to sever their ties with Israel and end the war with Al Qaeda. -- FOX News
