Glenn Beck: A Call to Action

Friday's TV show concludes a week of Beck's special week-long series, "The New Republic: America's Future -- Reasonable Questions For Unreasonable Times."

Monday through Thursday, Beck laid out some of the more troubling aspects of, and figures related to, the Barack Obama administration. Beck's critique included organizations (ACORN, SEIU, Weather Underground, etc) which either Obama or members of his administration had direct ties with.

Today is Beck's "solutions" day. How do those opposed to the stated goals of Obama and his allies respond to the challenges presented to them by their opponents? What are our strategies to contest the liberals?

[I have a strategy. It's in the comments below. ;) ]

"what a total BUSH SHILL", "IDIOT" blah, blah, blah.

Attack Glen if he threatens YOUR agenda (or your dogma), but you'll make about as much sence as the quotes above; try and debunk the points Glen makes and you'll not only look foolish, but you'll also lay bare your hidden Marxest agenda.

It is amazing how quickly BHO is now facing a "check" move and from such an unhinged foe. Notice I write "check" and not check mate- that may come in 2010 or we may see something altogether Orwellian from BHO.

We truly live in interesting times.

In his weeklong series called “Reasonable Questions for an Unreasonable Time,” [of which the two videos above comprise the bulk of Friday's wrap up show] Beck has argued vehemently that the Obama administration is being infiltrated by radicals seeking to undermine the U.S. Constitution.

“I have demonstrated that these radicals are not only instrumental in shaping legislation that is being jammed through at light speed, they are also by invitation personally advising the president of the United States,” he said Wednesday, calling them “radical wolves that are about to devour our republic.”

Bush shill? Hardly.

In video two @ 5:27 (obviously you didn't watch that far Anonymous) Beck says, "This is not about Republicans versus Democrats. We both know they suck equally. This is about Republicans and Democrats and Independents against radical revolutionaries and anti-capitalist nutjobs that we wouldn't let our kids deal with all day, let alone leave our country with them."

What do American TV viewers think of Beck's show this week?

Beck attracted 2.81 million viewers Monday, his third-largest audience since his show launched on Fox News in January, according to Nielsen Media Research data provided by the network.

On Tuesday, nearly 2.7 million viewers tuned in, his fifth-largest viewership to date.

Beck posted his second-highest viewership ever Wednesday, attracting more than 3 million viewers for the (non-primetime 5 P.M.) hour.

One could conclude that his Thursday and Friday ratings were equally impressive.

So much so that a reverse boycott of the advertisers who have pulled their ads from Beck's show is happening. These non-advertisers are losing customers by the droves:

Applebee’s, Bank of America, Bell & Howell, DirecTv, General Mills, Kraft, Regions Financial Corporation, SAM (Store and Move), Travelers Insurance, VonageAirware Inc. (makers of Brez anti-snoring aids), Allergan (maker of Restasis), Ally Bank (a unit of GMAC Financial Services), Ancestry.com, AT&T, Best Buy, Blaine Labs Inc., Broadview Security, Campbell Soup Company, ConAgra, Clorox, CVS, Ditech, The Elations Company, Experian (creator of FreeCreditReport.com), Farmers Insurance Group, GEICO, Johnson & Johnson (makers of Tylenol), Lawyers.com, Lowe’s, Men’s Wearhouse, NutriSystem, Procter & Gamble, Progressive Insurance, RadioShack, Re-Bath, Roche, SC Johnson, Sanofi-Aventis, Sargento, Sprint, State Farm Insurance, Travelocity, The UPS Store, Verizon Wireless and Wal-Mart.

Thanks Glenn (and Color of Change idiots who started the first boycott) for helping to weed out these left-leaning monopolies.

Good riddance to them, I say.

Anonymous, you got one thing right in your misguided rant... interesting times indeed.
