Last November, I posted a story entitled Bin Laden Planning to Outdo 9/11 Attacks which drew a never-before-seen volume of traffic to my blog - over 42,000 visitors in a single weekend. Previously, the record of 6,000 visitors had been set by a similarly-themed post entitled Allah Willing, the American Empire Will Collapse (since renamed to 'An American Gorbachev'.)
I bring this up again because yesterday an odd thing happened. Visitors began trickling back to that "Allah Willing" post. They came from all over: Troy, Michigan; Wallingford, Connecticut; Santa Cruz, California; Brooklyn, New York; Irvine, California; Green Bay, Wisconsin, etc.
Normally, I would think nothing of it, writing their visits off as normal traffic, even though I haven't seen that kind of interest in that particular post since the day I wrote it.
And then I read this:
From the Long War Journal - Baitullah Mehsud's wife killed in Predator attack. (Mehsud is the leader of the Taliban in Pakistan.)
Additionally, the NEFA Foundation is reporting a drop in the level of communications from the Taliban media. A fact made clear by NEFA's chart [PDF] of recent Taliban media releases.
Spooky coincidences? -or- Are the Taliban busy preparing for another strike? If the latter, I'm afraid they're already here and scattered throughout the country. [Not to mention, regular covertress readers!] -- I sure hope I'm just making a mountain out of a mole hill.
One thing is sure, whether America will one day "collapse" or not relies heavily on the day-to-day awareness of our citizens and the capabilities of our counterterrorism professionals to root out the jihadists and stop them where ever they are - acts most certainly Allah unwilling.

Locked, loaded and ready to rock & roll. The diaperheads are fortunate the politicians rather than the people of the USA are controlling our actions. Otherwise, there'd be nothing but black glass across the moslem lands.
